Receptionist for a Co-working and Events space in North London.
A successful and innovative Co-working and Events space in North London is seeking a Receptionist to assist with day-to-day operations while building a sense of community among members. This is a diverse role which involves collaborating with multiple teams to enhance the membership experience, from organising exciting events to promoting the space. The ideal candidate will be personable and energetic with a passion for sustainability and innovation.
Role: Receptionist
Start date: ASAP (will wait 1 month's notice)
Salary: Up to £35,000 DOE
Working Hours: 9:00 - 18:00 (with flexibility for events)
Location: North London, 5 days in the office
Responsibilities:
- Manage co-working space operations, assist with membership enquiries and handle the onboarding process for new members
- Manage mutli-channel communication, serving as the first point of contact for members and visitors
- Work across departments to ensure spaces are well-maintained and operate efficiently
- Maintain and update membership systems
- Collate member feedback and use this to improve member experiences
- Assist in planning and executing events to create a sense of community among members
- Manage the events venue and oversee the booking process for meeting rooms
- Promote the various membership types, event spaces and amenities through informative tours
Requirements:
- Experience in co-working spaces and events is preferred but not essential
- Experience in customer-facing roles and a proven track record of delivering exceptional customer experiences
- Basic admin, office and sales experience with a good understanding of membership-based organisations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Familiarity with systems such as Nexdus, Brivo and Airtable would be advantageous
- Professional, confident and articulate
