Our client is a national charity who put on annual fundraising events attended by directors and c-suite executives from SMEs and larger corporations in the UK. In this role, you'll be the engine behind expanding and coordinating those fundraising events across the whole of the UK. You'll be at the forefront, engaging with business leaders and C-suite executives, rallying them to unite, to take part, and to raise funds for a higher purpose. With a proven background in business development and a knack for networking, you'll take charge of growing our national presence and elevating our fundraising efforts to new heights.

Responsibilities

  • Host events in several UK cities, and participate, alongside business leaders, showcasing your commitment and belief in the Company's mission and values.
  • Expand the Company's reach by identifying and onboarding new locations in the UK, finding new venues and recruiting and motivating business leaders and executives to participate in events.
  • Build strong relationships with local business leaders, local councils, and the local charities who will benefit from our events and fundraising activities.
  • Aim to exceed event fundraising targets by encouraging participants with ideas and by running seamless events that fundraisers want to participate in year after year.
  • Work to a specific set of KPIs to achieve growth across the board of the role.

Experience Required

  • A robust and enviable network and experience in business development, sales, recruitment or any similar role.
  • Outstanding networking, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Passion for social causes and a drive to make a tangible impact.
  • The flexibility to travel and attend overnight events across the UK. This role involves regularly being away from home for around one week per month.
  • Any experience in keynote speaking would be beneficial but not essential.
