  • Contract Duration: initially until March 2025
  • Location: London/Sheffield (Hybrid - 1-2 days a week in the office)

Reed Professional Services are on the lookout for a seasoned Senior Business Analyst to join our client on their new project, which will be a pivotal initiative within the Technology function. This role is ideal for someone who has a track record of business analysis within project environments, particularly with third-party suppliers, and who can navigate the complexities of a multi-stakeholder setting.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Engage in business analysis for the ongoing Route Manager phase 3 and upcoming phase 4 planning/deployment.
  • Analyse the implications for PDA usage and estimated delivery windows.
  • Work with Geo Route and FDS systems.
  • Define, manage, and assure the quality of business analysis work.
  • Integrate Agile best practices into a traditionally Waterfall environment.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Credibility and gravitas to work with demanding internal clients and complex external suppliers.
  • Lead or Senior Business Analyst experience in large retail or logistics organisations, or in Supply Chain Distribution.
  • Expertise in requirements gathering, process mapping, and business process modelling using UML/BPMN.
  • Stakeholder management experience up to senior manager/director level.
  • Strong communication, influencing, collaboration, listening, and conflict management skills.
  • Experience in business change and transformation projects.
  • Vendor/Supplier management experience in a multi-supplier environment.
  • Proficiency in working within both Waterfall & Agile project environments.
  • Self-starter with a proactive approach to work and strong teamwork skills.
  • Understanding of software integration and data mapping.
  • Focus on comprehending non-functional as well as business requirements.

Desirable:

  • Previous experience in retail or logistics.
  • Previous consultancy work experience.
