Reward & Benefits Specialist / Manager

Are you a dynamic professional with a strong background in Compensation and Benefits? Our client, a leading Law firm, is looking for a Reward and Benefits Specialist / Manager to lead the operational delivery of their Reward and Benefit activities, within a 13-month maternity contract.

You will be working within a highly collaborative team, responsible for managing and delivering a wide range of Reward and Benefit initiatives, focusing on both Lawyers and Business Professionals. This role involves driving key activities such as salary and bonus reviews, benefits management, and compensation benchmarking.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Salary and Bonus Review:
  • Lead the salary and bonus review process, ensuring alignment with client guidelines and timetable.
  • Conduct job evaluation and compensation benchmarking, leveraging market data from Willis Towers Watson (WTW).
  • Stay updated on relevant competitor market data and developments.
  • Collaborate with HR Business Partners to provide project updates and guidance on compensation planning.
  • Support and participate in salary and bonus review meetings and moderation sessions.
  • Ensure accurate capture of off-line salary and bonus decisions in Workday.
  • Work closely with the International Assignments team on compensation activities.
  • Assist in pay gap analysis and reporting.
  • Oversee the operational delivery of key benefits, including Private Medical, Dental and Travel Insurance, Pension schemes, Childcare Vouchers, and more.
  • Ensure compliance with pension auto-enrollment requirements.
  • Address compensation and benefits queries from various stakeholders, escalating complex issues when necessary.
  • Manage relationships with external benefit providers, ensuring smooth resolution of queries and cases.
  • Monitor market trends, leading tender processes, and promoting new initiatives.
  • Collaborate with HR colleagues on various projects, providing research, presentations, and stakeholder management.
  • Mentor HR Advisors, and continuously improve department processes.
  • Benefits Management:

Skills and Experience:

  • an understanding of Willis Towers Watson market data.
  • Similar experience gained within a large global firm.
  • Good working knowledge of Excel.
  • Experience using Workday is highly advantageous.
  • Experience of managing relationships - there will be some relationship management with some of our smaller providers.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, working both independently and as part of a team.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and collaborate effectively.
