Location: Children, Families, and Education Directorate
Pay: £28.77 Per Hour LTD
Reports to: Senior Strategic Area SENCo

As a Project Assistant, you will play a critical role in coordinating impactful projects and collaborating with schools to improve educational access and outcomes. Your contributions will directly support our mission to reduce violence and improve school inclusion, giving you the chance to make tangible, meaningful changes.

**What You'll Do:

  • Project Management: Assist in planning, tracking, and delivering high-priority projects, including Talk Matters VRU, ensuring they stay on time and within budget.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with schools, internal teams, and external partners to deliver outcomes that benefit children and communities.
  • Process & System Development: Build and maintain efficient project systems-risk registers, issue logs, and reporting tools-to keep things running smoothly.
  • Research & Reporting: Conduct data analysis, research, and benchmarking to provide critical insights for decision-making. You'll also prepare reports for key boards and governance bodies.
  • Communication: Assist in crafting presentations, coordinating meetings, and managing follow-ups to keep projects on track.

**What We're Looking For:

  • Experience in project support or coordination roles, preferably within the education or public sector.
  • Technical skills in MS Office and familiarity with project management tools like SharePoint.
  • A strong analytical mind, with the ability to turn data into actionable insights.
  • An adaptable, team player with excellent organizational skills who can handle tight deadlines without compromising on quality.
