Mbf are working with a market leading, award winning investment management & financial planning organisation to recruit an experienced Investment Administrator. Our client has a national presence, they are a well-known name in the industry who have grown substantially over the past few years.

Role and Responsibilities:
As a Senior Investment Administrator, you will play a crucial role in managing financial portfolios and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Client Service Excellence: Keeping the customer at the heart of everything you do and providing exceptional service.
  • Instruction Processing: Handling instructions received via internal systems and email with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Trading & Settlement: Managing trading and settlement instructions to maintain in-house funds.
  • Platform Maintenance: Overseeing external platform maintenance, including model updates, rebalancing, and audits.
  • Reporting: Providing accurate and timely reporting as required.
  • Reconciliation: Reconciling fund and cash flows.
  • Portfolio Management: Processing and maintaining portfolio rebalances and share class conversions.
  • Problem Solving: Demonstrating good problem-solving skills, escalating issues when necessary, and taking accountability to ensure resolution.
  • Project Involvement: Participating in projects to improve systems and processes.

The successful candidate will be delivery-oriented, well-organised, and possess:

  • Qualifications: Ideally, IOC or CII exams.
  • Product Knowledge: Familiarity with investment products such as ISAs, GIAs, and wrapped products.
  • Proactive Approach: A proactive mindset and the ability to challenge the status quo concerning processes.
  • Passion for Service: A strong commitment to delivering high-quality service.
  • Self-Starter: A self-starter who takes ownership of their development journey.
  • Team Player: Excellent teamwork skills.
