Our client is seeking an Export Coordinator to join their team. The role involves the production and preparation of export paperwork, ensuring compliance with HMC control requirements, and liaising with airlines and various branches. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining CAA security protocols and processes, and ensuring that all shipment procedures are followed accurately.
Day to Day of the Role:
- Produce and prepare all necessary paperwork for exports, ensuring all related requirements are met.
- Control and manage HMC requirements to enable smooth export processes.
- Liaise effectively with airlines, UK branches, and warehouse to coordinate export activities.
- Adhere to CAA security protocols and processes, maintaining high standards of operational security.
- Achieve personal and operational targets, reporting any issues that may affect performance.
- Ensure accurate data entry and maintenance on company systems.
- Request materials and services as needed to meet operational targets.
- Contribute to maintaining safety and hygiene standards within the workplace.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in export documentation and operations.
- Quick learner with the ability to adapt to new systems and processes.
- Familiarity with the NES system for matching export records for customs.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Training as a "Regulated Agent" is preferred, though not essential as training will be provided.
- Knowledge of the Cargowise system is an advantage but not essential.
- Analytical skills and proficiency in IT, including Windows, Word, and Excel.
