You will be working for a main contractor who has projects across numerous sectors, including residential, commercial, schools and healthcare. This company is expanding rapidly with offices across East Anglia.
Your new role
Based out of any of their regional offices, you will be responsible for:
- Overseeing the design team and design process from inception to completion
- Collaborate with architects and engineers to ensure the design aligns with structural requirements, functionality, and aesthetic considerations.
- Translate construction design concepts into reality by coordinating with contractors and subcontractors, to ensure accurate implementation.
- Ensure designs adhere to industry regulations, safety standards, and legal requirements.
- Collaborate with regulatory bodies to ensure compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
- Resolve any issues related to construction methodologies, materials and unexpected obstacles.
What you'll need to succeed
You will hold a degree in a relevant field such as architecture or engineering and have experience in a similar role for a construction contractor.
