Maths Graduate Learning Support Assistant - Hassocks
At Engage, we know that a school runs on quality support staff. We've spent over a decade building strong relationships with schools in Hassocks, and we're now looking to recruit a Maths Graduate or Specialist LSA for one of our Outstanding SEND schools.
The position would be to start September 2024.
The right candidate will need to provide educational and personal support to children aged 11-19 with a diagnosis of Autism, usually high functioning Autism or Asperger's syndrome.
They are looking for proactive and passionate LSA's who are keen to interact with students. This role would be suitable for trainees and Graduates, who are eager to pursue a career within Special Education.
It is not essential to have school based experience, as training can be provided. However, having some experience with Autism (either personally or professionally) would be preferable!
The ideal candidate will have:
- Maths Degree (Hons)
- Classroom experience (preferable)
We also welcome application from anyone with a strong Maths background, including A Level Maths, Maths Degree (Hons) or any relevant Maths experience/knowledge.
This particular school is looking for candidates who can support their secondary aged students when in their Maths GCSE lessons and across some other subjects as well.
