MERJE is working with a recently acquired manufacturing Business who is seeking an astute Financial Controller.
The Financial Controller will be responsible for the management of all aspects of finance including Management Accounts, Ledgers, Stock Control, and more.
The role requires a qualified accountant with experience in the food or manufacturing industry.
The salary is flexible but circa £55k plus benefits and this would be based in Lancashire
Key Responsibilities of the Financial Controller :
- Manage all aspects of finance including Management Accounts, Ledgers, Stock Control, and more.
- Provide financial advice and support to the MD and other stakeholders.
- Ensure all financial transactions are recorded accurately and on time.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations.
- Manage a small finance team.
Required knowledge and experience for the Financial Controller role:
- Qualified accountant with experience in the food or manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of finance and accounting principles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
