Job Title: Interim Oracle Finance Lead
Location: Remote / Midlands
Contract Length: 6-12 months
Day Rate: £600 / £700 per day outside IR35
I have an immediate requirement for an Interim Oracle Finance Lead to join my client to support a transformation programme. The successful candidate will need experience of Oracle up to configuration level and be comfortable in using Excel models and tools to access data. A strong grounding in finance is preferable with significant exposure to R2R or deep understanding of general ledger activity while progressing through a transformation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the finance testing environment with full configuration access.
- Diagnose and resolve issues during User Acceptance Testing (UAT), identifying whether problems stem from technical issues, access problems, or incorrect build.
- Ensure business readiness by supporting finance teams and stakeholders.
- Manage and configure Oracle to ensure optimal performance.
- Operate within a highly fluid change environment, adapting to evolving business needs.
Experience Required:
- Extensive experience with Oracle at a configuration level.
- Proficient in Excel, including advanced configuration capabilities.
- Strong finance background with a focus on R2R or General Ledger.
- Demonstrable ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues during UAT.
- Proven track record in a change environment, with the ability to adapt and provide solutions rapidly.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, capable of collaborating with cross-functional teams.
