Lettings Administrator
Basic: £25,000 - £27,000 (depending on experience) + Commission
Location: Office-Based | Full-Time | Independent Estate Agency

This role sits within a small, friendly team in an office that covers both Sales and Lettings. You will be working on the Lettings side of the business and will play a vital part in the smooth running of the operation. The team values energy, flexibility, and a willingness to muck in wherever needed.
About the Role:
This is a hands-on and highly varied role that includes a blend of lettings negotiation, property visits, applicant management, and property administration. The successful candidate will be proactive, organised, and happy to work both independently and collaboratively.
Key Responsibilities:
Lettings & Viewings:
- Arranging and conducting property viewings
- Handling applicant enquiries via email and telephone
- Following up on viewings and providing feedback to landlords
- Assisting with negotiation and referencing process
- Preparing files for the Lettings Manager
Property Management Support:
- Managing annual gas safety certificate renewals
- Processing EICR renewals
- Checking and logging smoke and carbon monoxide alarm details into the system
- Conducting property visits, preparing reports, and liaising with landlords and the Property Manager
- Following up on utility bills during void periods
- Assisting with general maintenance coordination for managed properties
- Allocated management of specific properties on a case-by-case basis
- Registering new appliances and instructing contractors as needed
Candidate Profile:
This role would suit someone who is confident, driven, and highly organised, with a genuine love of property. The ideal candidate will be a team player who brings energy into the room, enjoys working with people, and is happy to take initiative when needed.
Skills & Requirements:
- Previous experience in lettings or property is desirable (higher salary available for experienced candidates)
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Positive attitude and ability to work under pressure
- Strong IT skills including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and CRM systems
- A general understanding of lettings processes - although full training will be provided
- A full clean UK driving licence is essential
What You Will Receive:
- Basic salary of £25,000 - £27,000 (dependent on experience)
- Additional commission/bonus (OTE circa £30,000+)
- Full-time hours: Monday to Friday, 9.00am - 5.30pm (1 hour lunch)
- Occasional Saturday cover with day off in lieu
- 28 days holiday including bank holidays
- Pension contribution
- Petrol allowance
- Three-month probationary period
