Exams Officer – Ofsted Outstanding Secondary School

This high achieving secondary school require an experienced Exams Officer to join the team and run the examinations processes from September. As the Exams officer at this school, you will be working in collaboration with the Data Manager and Operations Manager to facilitate the effective running of the examination processes. Starting in September your primary responsibility will be to handle all post result requests and begin the resit application process.

Responsibilities:

  • Effectively communicating with staff, students, parent and exam boards.
  • Managing all post exam related enquiries in a timely manner.
  • Be confident in using SIMS and managing student data.
  • Be able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
  • Have an in-depth understanding of the examination processes.
  • Experience working with a number of exam boards including AQA and Edexcel.
  • Understanding a range of additional needs and reasonable adjustments that must be made.

This role requires an individual who has previous experience as an Exams Officer. This is initially a temporary position with the opportunity to go permanent for the successful candidate.
