Summary:
Our client is seeking a caring and experienced Nanny/Housekeeper for their 1-year-old daughter. This will be a sole-charge role, with occasional support from the mother, who works from home part-time. We are looking for a nanny who will engage with their child, fostering a fun, loving, and stimulating environment.
In addition to childcare, the role involves some light housekeeping duties in their 2-bedroom home, particularly when the mother or grandmother is available to look after the baby.
Duties to include:
Childcare:
- Engaging in age-appropriate play and activities
- Maintaining the child's sleep schedule
- Changing nappies and sterilizing bottles
- Preparing meals and feeding
- Taking the child on walks and to parks or activities
Housekeeping:
- Tidying up after the child, including keeping her play areas and clothes organized
- Maintaining a tidy kitchen, including emptying the dishwasher
- General light cleaning (vacuuming, wiping surfaces)
- Laundry and occasional cooking for the family
Ideal Candidate:
- Experience with children of a similar age
- Warm, loving, and highly engaging with children
- Arabic-speaking is a strong advantage as the they speak Arabic at home and want the child to learn
- A valid DBS check (required at offer stage)
- Current Paediatric First Aid Certificate
