Role: Senior UX Designer
Location: Essex (Hybrid)
Salary: £50,000
About the Role:
A highly respected company based in Essex is looking for a Senior UX Designer to join the team.
As a Senior UX Designer, you will work on a variety of projects, from web and mobile applications to complex digital platforms. You will play a key role in leading the UX team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the end-to-end user experience design process for digital products, from concept to final implementation.
- Conduct in-depth user research, interviews, surveys, and usability tests.
- Develop wireframes, user flows, and interactive prototypes that communicate design ideas and user journeys.
- Use industry-standard design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD.
- Work closely with product managers and developers to ensure UX designs align with business objectives and technical requirements.
- Guide and mentor junior designers, providing feedback, best practices, and career development support to enhance their skills.
- Facilitate A/B testing and other user testing methods, develop designs based on feedback, and continuously improve the UX of products.
Key Requirements:
- Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience in UX design, with a strong portfolio demonstrating your ability to solve complex design challenges and create user-friendly products.
- Expertise with industry-standard design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, InVision, or similar.
- Proven experience in conducting user research, usability testing, and translating insights into successful product designs.
- Strong skills in wireframing, prototyping, interaction design, and information architecture.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present and explain design concepts to non-design audiences.
- Prior experience leading design projects or managing other designers, with the ability to provide mentorship and guidance.
