Organisational Development Manager

The ACC Liverpool Group operates the city's waterfront event campus - the interconnected M&S Bank Arena, ACC Liverpool and Exhibition Centre Liverpool - as well as ticketing agency Ticket Quarter and the Pullman Liverpool Hotel.

Playing a leading role in shining a spotlight on Liverpool, we have successfully staged a wide array of national and international events, including the Eurovision Song Contest last year and in 2024, we will be hosting Labour Party Conference, in addition to a packed programme of entertainment and business events.

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a forward thinking, dynamic, HR professional, to join our People team as OD Manager.

We are looking for someone who truly values working for a diverse and inclusive organisation, where employee engagement, wellbeing and psychological safety are the norm.

The successful candidate will help move the dial on our exciting employee experience agenda by focusing on the development and delivery of specific people strategies and initiatives that enhance the experience of everyone working at the ACC Liverpool Group. This will include partnering with our managers to build organisational and people capability and leading our cross-company Wellbeing and Engagement teams.

The ideal candidate will have experience of:

  • Working with colleagues at all levels within an organisation.
  • Playing a key role within the People function.
  • Drafting People policies, strategies, reports and initiatives.
  • Managing projects from inception to embedding the change within the organisation.
  • Designing and delivering OD and change management processes and interventions.
  • Managing reward and recognition platforms to maximise staff engagement.
  • Creating monthly internal communications.

The successful candidate will ideally have:

  • A CIPD Level 5 qualification.
  • An innate desire to want to grow, develop and exceed expectations.
  • A desire to drive the business and the People team processes forward highly developed project management skills.
  • Highly developed verbal and written communication skills.
  • An ability to organise, prioritise and plan workload efficiently.
  • A good eye for detail, ensuring accuracy.
  • The ability to problem-solve and improve processes.
