Temporary Purchase Ledger Clerk

Your new company
Hays Accountancy & Finance are supporting a rapidly expanding company in Diss who are looking for an experienced temporary purchase ledger clerk to assist the team in a 3-month role. The role will initially be office based, but after a few weeks, they are able to offer hybrid working 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home.

Your new role
In this temporary purchase ledger job, you will be responsible for assisting the wider finance team with inputting purchase ledger invoices, raising a PO, obtaining approval for payment and preparing payment runs. The organisation needs temporary cover for 3-months due to an increase in business and holiday cover.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be immediately available and able to commute to Diss at least 3 days a week and 2 days from home for the next 3 months, along with having experience of high volume and complex purchase invoices. You will be confident in person to deal with internal and supplier queries.

What you'll get in return
As this will be a temporary purchase ledger job you will be paid an hourly rate including your holiday pay of circa £22,000 - £24,000.
