A Roofer is required to carry our maintenance and repairs on a wide variety of Local Authority properties in and around South London.
THE ROOFER ROLE:
Working Monday to Friday, you will have a varied role, including:
- Inspect roofs and determine the best course of action for repairs or replacement
- Repair damaged roofs by replacing broken or missing shingles, tiles, flashing, soffits and guttering
- Apply waterproof coatings or sealants to protect roofs from leaks
- Install insulation and vapour barriers to ensure energy efficiency
- Complete daily worksheets
- Ensure Health & Safety is adhered to at all time.
KEY SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
- Recent experience as a Roofer or in a similar role
- Knowledge of roofing techniques and materials
- Basic carpentry
- Basic masonry skills for chimney repairs and flashing
- Happy with heavy lifting and physically demanding roles
- A full driving license
- CSCS card (company will assist)
- Full PPE
- Own tools.
SALARY & BENEFITS YOU'LL RECEIVE AS A ROOFER:
- £40,000 - £45,000, dependent on experience
- Overtime available
