Removals Sales Estimator

Our client is a stalwart of the UK Removals and Storage Industry. A multi-branch, long term BAR member with a great reputation for quality.

They now have an immediate opportunity for a Sales Estimator to join their busy team based in NW London with some work within SW London.

The main purpose of the role is to sell the company brand, ensuring profitable growth for the branch by developing relationships, responding to customer enquiries, and proactively marketing and selling the company's services.

Previous experience within a similar role in the removals industry is essential.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop sales in line with the branch sales and marketing plan in the domestic, commercial, international and insurance areas.
  • Meet and exceed all sales activity plans weekly, monthly, and quarterly.
  • Achieve all sales conversion, margin, and revenue targets weekly.
  • Respond to leads and enquiries handled by the Sales Support team.
  • Formulate suitable removal plans based on survey information.
  • Proactively canvass and call on target accounts as defined by the Branch Manager.
  • Account manage existing customers already with the branch.
  • Collaborate with the Branch Manager to establish competitive pricing based on current market conditions.
  • Work with the Operations team to establish and improve service standards.
  • Build good relationships with customers, offering a full range of customer support and services.
  • Provide accurate scoping and costing for moves on Moveware within 14 days.
  • Identify and develop target markets via a range of marketing initiatives as directed by the Branch Manager.
  • Provide advice on international moves.
  • Contribute to Branch Sales strategy and growth as set out by the Branch Manager.

Essential experience and knowledge:

  • Previous field sales experience, particular B2C preferable
  • Good negotiating and influencing skills
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • PC literate - Outlook, Word and Excel
  • Ability to build alliances and maintain relationships
  • Ability to understand both customer and competitive environment
  • Good networking skills
  • Ability to work on own initiative, without supervision
  • Knowledge of the removals business
  • International experience
