Senior Ecologist

I am pleased to announce that we are looking for a Senior Ecologist to join a fantastic team in Essex! The team work on a multi-disciplinary basis, providing services within a range of environmental sectors including arboriculture and landscape. They work on projects within both public and private sectors and are looking to expand the team due to an influx in projects.

Responsibilities of a Senior Ecologist include:
- Undertaking ecological site assessments and protected species surveys
- Producing biodiversity metrics and reports.
- Supporting senior management and developing the team.
Requirements of a Senior Ecologist include:
- Strong knowledge of relevant UK and European legislation.
- Experience of producing high quality reports.
- CIEEM membership (or ability to apply is beneficial) and a protected species licence/botanical ID skills is preferable.
