Location: - Remote (Occasional Expensed Visits to Main Site)

Type: Permanent, Full Time

Salary: £40,000 - £45,000

Russell Taylor Group has a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Site Services Engineer specialised in passive fire protection (for cavity barriers and firestops) to join an innovative Global Company who develop and manufacture fire, thermal, acoustic and insulation solutions for both National and Overseas Markets.

The Role:

  • Lead a team of specialist engineers to ensure the correct inspection of passive fire protection systems and maintain compliance with industry standards - additionally conducting your own detailed inspections to confirm compliance with relevant codes / standards.
  • Identify issues and recommend corrective actions whilst communicating with stakeholders to provide a timely resolution.
  • Oversee team KPIs and data analyses to push constant improvement (Providing guidance, support, and training where necessary)
  • Ensure processes are defined and understood by the team of engineers (And followed at all times.)
  • Maintain a QA program to ensure both accurate and consistent inspection processes whilst communicating with stakeholders to improve inspection processes and quality concerns.
  • Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of relevant industry regulations, codes and best practices.
  • Maintain in-depth and accurate records of all inspections, findings + corrective measures conducted whilst preparing detailed reports for all stakeholders.

The Person:

  • Experience with passive fire protection and / or external wall systems.
  • Inspection experience of passive fire protection systems, especially in external wall buildings.
  • Leadership and team management experience with strong communication skills
  • Report writing / document writing experience.
  • Excellent analytical ability to understand and draw insights form inspection data.
  • Excellent problem-solving ability.
  • Strong I.T ability (Excel, Power-BI, Office etc).
