Technical Writer - IT Support / Service Desk environments - ServiceNow - 6 month contract (Umbrella engagement only) - Nottingham Hybrid working
I am looking for an experienced Technical Writer to join the IT Service Desk team of well known FinTech client.
Do you have a passion for creating clear, user-friendly knowledge articles, and have experience with tools such as ServiceNow and/or Confluence, then I'd love to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Define, create, and maintain comprehensive knowledge articles for IT Service Desk operations.
- Work with subject matter experts to gather relevant information.
- Ensure all documentation is clear, accurate, and easy to follow.
- Continuously update and improve knowledge base content.
- Use ServiceNow and Confluence to manage and publish articles effectively.
Key Skills and Experience:
- Proven background working as a Technical Writer, ideally with experience of working in IT Support / Service Desk environments.
- Knowledge of ServiceNow, Confluence or similar toolsets.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality documentation.
