Business Services Officer

We are looking for a dedicated Business Services Officer to contribute to the effective and efficient management and progression of cases. The role involves providing administrative support to Family Court Advisors and Service Managers, ensuring the smooth operation of case management systems, and maintaining high standards of data accuracy and safeguarding.
Day to Day of the role:
- Monitor case progression and provide administrative support to Family Court Advisors and Service Managers.
- Handle referrals, create, update, and close cases within the case management system, and ensure all documentation is saved and up to date.
- Communicate with service users, including sending letters and information packs, and follow up on any missing information.
- Perform telephone and reception duties, and offer general administrative support as required.
- Maintain internal records, databases, and filing systems in compliance with data protection legislation.
- Manage resources such as booking systems for hire cars, training rooms, and equipment.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- High level of attention to detail and ability to input data accurately and timely.
- Highly organised with the ability to work methodically and follow systems and procedures.
- Competent use of Microsoft Office packages, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Excellent word processing skills and good comprehension of the English language.
- Good numerical ability and excellent listening and oral communication skills.
- Knowledge of general office practice and procedures and the ability to prioritise tasks.
- Ability to adapt to a changing environment and work effectively as part of a team.
- Understanding of confidentiality issues including data protection and the ability to deal with sensitive matters.
