Credit Controller / Accounts Assistant

Day-to-day of the role:

Credit Control:

Proactively chase late/non-payments via telephone and email, converting outstanding debts into paid invoices.

Sales Ledger:
-
Onboard new customers and manage their accounts seamlessly.

Issue pro-forma invoices and ensure monthly customer statements are timely and accurate.

Retrieve missing Proof of Delivery (POD) documents and handle customer queries efficiently.

Sales Order Input:

Process sales orders efficiently on Sage, keeping our sales pipeline up to date.

General Responsibilities:

Maintain organised accounts paperwork and ensure easy accessibility.

Scan supplier invoices to our server for a seamless digital workflow.

Handle various ad-hoc duties, contributing to the dynamic nature of our work environment.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Eagerness to learn with an interest in working towards an AAT qualification (full training provided).
- Strong computer skills; proficiency in Sage 50 accounts is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and a strong work ethic.
