Locum Litigation Lawyer - Remote Working - Up to £60 per hour Umbrella - South West
Venn Group's specialist Legal team are pleased to be recruiting for aLocum Litigation Lawyerto join a Local Authority in the South West.
This is a full time position foraninitialperiod of 3 monthssubject tolikely extensionthereafter. Hybrid working is required for court and committee attendance.
The ideal candidate would be aQualified Solicitor, Legal Executive or Barristerwith substantial Local Authority experience in relation to prosecutions, regulatory matters and licensing appeal hearings in the Magistrate's Court.
Duties may include:
- Managing a caseload of matters with minimal supervision and reviewing work to ensure work is completed to a high standard
- Undertaking advocacy and negotiations on behalf of the Council
- Provide advice in relation to Regulatory, Anti-Social Behaviour and Licensing matters
