Transaction Tax Senior Manager

Posted by Michael Page Finance.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Transaction Tax Senior Manager to work alongside the Tax Partner in providing tax advisory services on a range of taxation matters and projects across many sectors and clientele.

Client Details

Join a Top-20 member firm, with an exciting growth strategy to double their tax service line in the next 3-5 years. The client can provide you with significant development opportunities, with an excellent mix of client-facing and technical tax exposure.

Description

Serving as a key contact within the firm, you will collaborate with our clients to deliver high-quality advisory projects, often leading the process from the initial meeting to project completion. You will work closely with our tax partner to cultivate strong, lasting relationships with our clients and intermediary contacts, often becoming a trusted adviser on all tax matters.

You should be comfortable managing and training junior team members, ensuring that client work is delivered to a high standard and within agreed commercial deadlines. Given that much of our sell-side work is one-off, there will be a strong focus on business development. You will be expected to support the tax partner by attending events and fostering new relationships, and as is often the case in tax, many opportunities are generated through networking externally, and collaborating across other service lines such as audit and corporate finance.

Profile

To join the business as a successful Transaction Tax Senior Manager you should have:

  • ACA, CTA or equivalent qualification and 5 years' PQE would be advantageous.
  • Proven experience in a similar role, delivering specialist tax advisory services to owner-managed businesses and mid-sized corporate clients.

Job Offer

  • A competitive salary range of £65,000 - £88,000 per year (depending on skillset).
  • Opportunity to work in a vibrant, inclusive culture.
  • Continuous professional development opportunities.
  • Generous holiday leave.
  • Other benefits to be discussed at interview stage.
