Overview: As a Estimator, you'll prepare accurate and competitive estimates for structural steel projects, working closely with project management and engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for materials, labour, and equipment.
- Analyse drawings and specifications.
- Collaborate with project managers and engineers.
- Source and negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors.
- Maintain industry knowledge of materials and methods.
- Assist in tender submissions and track project costs.
Requirements:
- Proven experience with structural steel.
- Strong knowledge of structural/architectural steel and construction methods.
- Previous experience as an Estimator or QS.
