The Role

The Paralegal roles require you to have solid legal experience and an excellent eye for detail. The roles demand a confident and ambitious candidate with excellent written and verbal skills. You will need to work to deadlines and be willing to go the extra mile when needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Consideration of papers received on instruction obtaining documentary evidence
- Daily clients contact and case management
- Drafting legal and court documents
- Preparation of hearing bundles and external instructions
- Case and general administration
- Document management including use of internal electronic systems to progress cases and provide update reports to clients
- Legal Research
Ideal Candidate
- LPC or BPTC graduates preferred
- Previous proven work experience as Paralegal/Legal Assistant or Legal Executive
- Experience in civil, commercial and/or financial litigation; banking or finance
- Experience and ability to manage own case loads
- Excellent research and administration skills
- Able to manage a varied workload
- Exceptional communication skills (written, grammar and verbal)
- Exceptional organisational skills and good at multi-tasking
- Meticulous attention to detail and proven analytical skills
- Excellent IT skills including MS Office (Word, Excel and Outlook)
- Firm understanding of GDPR
- Smart, professional, hardworking, cheerful outlook and punctual
Required Qualifications
Please note you will need to meet the following criteria to be considered for this role:
- Strong legal experience (minimum 1 year)
- Minimum of 2:1 degree with post graduate LPC/BPTC preferred
- Finance, commercial or civil litigation experience
- Proven experience of managing own caseloads
