OD & Learning Advisor

Spencer Clarke Group are seeking an OD & Learning Adviser for a Local Authority Client based in West London.

In this role, you will lead and support key organisational development and learning initiatives, diagnosing team needs, delivering tailored training programmes, and driving the workforce strategy to ensure effective growth and development across the organisation.

About the role:

You will be tasked with delivering key strategic objectives:

  • Provide specialist advice and support to teams across the organisation in relation to organisational development (OD) and learning needs.
  • Assist in the delivery of the workforce strategy, diagnosing team needs and developing tailored learning interventions.
  • Deliver training sessions and workshops, both in-person and remotely via platforms like MS Teams and webinars.
  • Support the delivery of the Workforce Plan, contributing to the design and implementation of internal training programmes and activities.
  • Act as a key point of contact for managers and employees, ensuring timely and effective advice is provided.

About you:

The successful candidate will have the following skills / experience:

  • Experience in organisational development (OD) and learning, including diagnosing team needs and developing tailored interventions.
  • Experience delivering training programs, both in-person and remotely (e.g., MS Teams, webinars).
  • Experience managing or contributing to projects within HR/OD frameworks.
  • Experience motivating and supporting teams through periods of change and development.
  • Strong background in supporting workforce strategy and planning, with a focus on learning and development.

What's on offer:

Salary: £19+ph

  • may negotiate higher for exceptional candidates, based on experience*

Contract type: 3-6, months minimum, with a high likelihood of extension

Hours: Monday to Friday, 36 hours per week
