Elevation Recruitment Group are delighted to be working with a large technology company based in Sheffield as they recruit for a temporary, Polish Speaking Assistant Accountant. This is for a 3 month period and it is needed to support the company during a period of growth.
The key responsibilities for this Polish Speaking Accounts Assistant role include:

Be the key point of contact for local Poland-based third party accountant for day to day operations, with key tasks including:

Sharing invoices and transaction data for processing, including supporting with determination of tax classification

Review and approve monthly tax and VAT payments/receipts

Ensuring alignment of above with UK ledgers and AP team

Perform key operational finance tasks for the Poland studio, including

Review of monthly payroll and processing of payments

Support with raising of purchase orders and processing expense claims

Other ad-hoc tasks supporting local studio

Support the UK head of tax on analysis and reconciliations for the preparation of Poland year end tax and financial statements, linking in with local third-party accountant
