Management Accountant - Permanent - Leicester - up to £50,000 per annum
We are working with a brilliant client who are seeking a dedicated Management Accountant to support in delivering efficient, effective, and hands-on accounting activities. This technology driven SME has an excellent customer base, with many being instantly recognisable brand names.
This role does offer hybrid and flexible working, and are looking for somebody who is willing to roll their sleeves up and embrace a dynamic environment.
Some of the key responsibilities include:
- Assist in month-end and management reporting, including journal preparation and processing, ensuring accuracy and meeting deadlines.
- Produce accurate monthly balance sheet reconciliations and resolve all reconciling items.
- Manage the fixed asset register and associated finance leases.
- Collaborate with senior management on weekly forecasting, reporting, analysis, and commercial decision-making.
- Participate in annual budget completion and ad hoc forecasting as required.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong bookkeeping skills and fundamental knowledge of double-entry bookkeeping.
- Self-starter with quick learning ability and capacity to work independently.
- Preferable experience in Sage 200.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate clearly and logically.
- Advanced MS Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot tables, SUMIF, etc.).
- Open to PQ/Qual/QBE level candidates
