We are expanding our in-house fire door inspection and remedial works team to ensure compliance with Building Fire Safety regulations. We are looking for self-motivated and diligent individuals to join our team.
Fire Door Inspection team.
- Perform fire door inspections
- Carry out remedial works such as adjusting doors, fitting intumescent strips, renewing hinges, installing new door linings, or replacing entire door sets.
- Update app and systems post-assessment to ensure compliance with fire safety regulations.
- Access to a BCC commercial vehicle provided.
Additional Information:
- Conduct basic 13-point inspections on tagged door sets.
- Document findings in Fire Door Manager app including two photos per door (inside and outside).
- List any required remediation works for identified faults.
Requirements:
- Ideal candidates will have a background in carpentry or a related trade/technical field.
- Training and certification in the TRADA Fire Door Inspection process will be provided for Team 1 roles.
- Qualified carpenters with experience in remedial works are preferred.
- Must adhere to annual inspection schedules for front entrance doors and quarterly inspections for communal doors.
