Our Client is a well established leader in the oil and gas industry, based out of the Aberdeenshire area. They are currently building a bespoke development team to join them on their next stage of growth.
The Role
Working as a QA Analyst you will be responsible for testing all of the software, finding bugs and things that require improvement before submitting your reports back to the development team. You will be the gatekeeper of new software and be responsible for working our whether projects are fit for purpose and ready to be rolled out.
Responsibilities:
- Working alongside developers to resolve issues to improve software quality.
- Communicating with development to enhance our QA processes.
- Working alongside Business Analysts to ensure requirements are fully testable.
- Reporting testing issues and quality metrics.
- Identify, investigate, and log defects.
- Design and execute test plans and test cases.
Skills and Experience:
- 3+ years of experience in Software Testing.
- Understanding of both manual and automation testing.
- Good understanding of C# and .Net.
- Scrum Methodologies.
- Great communication and collaboration skills.
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and tools.
- Experience with functional, regression, and performance testing.
- Hands on experience with test automation frameworks (TestComplete a plus).
- Problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
