Part-Qualified Accountant

Salary: 36k - 42k
Hours: 9am - 5.30pm
Our client is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Part-Qualified Accountant to join their small to medium sized finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the preparation of management and financial accounts. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts.
- Support the budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Analyse financial performance and provide variance analysis.
- Prepare and present financial reports to senior management.
- Assist in the preparation of statutory accounts in compliance with local GAAP and IFRS.
- Support the year-end audit process and liaise with external auditors.
- Ensure accurate and timely month-end and year-end close processes.
- Maintain the general ledger and ensure all financial transactions are recorded accurately.
- Manage and reconcile multi-currency bank accounts.
- Process foreign currency transactions and ensure proper accounting treatment.
- Monitor and report on foreign exchange gains and losses.
- Assist in the preparation of multi-currency financial statements.
- Support the implementation and maintenance of financial controls and procedures.
- Assist in the preparation of VAT returns and other tax filings.
Qualifications and Skills:
Part-qualified accountant
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
Experience with multi-currency accounting and financial reporting.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Willingness to learn and develop within the role.
