CASS Audit Manager/Senior Manager

Our client is seeking a skilled CASS Audit Manager/Senior Manager to join their dynamic team. This role is perfect for a motivated professional looking to make a significant impact in the wealth and investment management sector. As a CASS Audit Manager/Senior Manager, you will be the principal contact for clients, ensuring compliance with statutory and CASS audits, and related FCA regulations. Our client is flexible on office location, as they have various office locations within the UK.

Responsibilities:

  • Principal contact for clients on day-to-day matters, from planning through to completion of assignments and building effective working relationships with clients and staff at all levels
  • Training, supporting and delegating to team members, ensuring deadlines and demands are met by the wider client engagement team and providing feedback as and when required
  • Preparing and monitoring budgets and issuing client fees
  • Maintaining an up-to-date technical knowledge for statutory and CASS audits, and related FCA regulations
  • Ensuring internal and external expectations are achieved, including supporting the leadership team in setting and delivering strategic targets
  • Supporting opportunities to promote the business in the wider marketplace
  • Acting as an ambassador for the firm
  • Contributing to new opportunities and securing new work, with the support of the wider senior management team and Business Development team

Required Skills:

  • ICAS, ICAEW, ACCA qualified accountant (or equivalent)
  • Strong industry and technical knowledge, ideally within wealth and investment management
  • Relevant experience in managing multiple client portfolios, ideally within a practice setting
  • Excellent communication skills and to be able positively impact and influence others
  • Relevant experience within a CASS Specialist role or a similar role is preferred
