Process Engineering Manager

We have an exciting opportunity for a Process Engineering Manager to join a Global Speciality Chemical Manufacturing business based in the East Riding of Yorkshire area. Reporting to the Site Engineering Manager you will manage a team of Process Engineers, delivering ongoing process and plant support, alongside supporting the site's capital investment programme. The site operates as an Upper Tier COMAH site.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Your duties as the Process Engineering Manager will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

1. You will lead the Process Engineering team in the design and execution of multiple projects varying in complexity and time-scale.

2. As the Process Engineering Manager, you will have in depth knowledge of Process Safety Management to support the site in liaising with statutory authorities.

3. This is a cross-functional position, liaising with other off-site teams, supporting the introduction of new products and technologies.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the Process Engineering Manager we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:

1. Your will hold a relevant degree qualification within a Process or Chemical Engineering discipline.

2. Proven management experience of a team of engineers, preferably Process and/or Chemical Engineers.

3. Proven experience in Process Safety Management and experience working within a Chemical Unit Manufacturing environment. Preferably a Top Tier COMAH site.
