Early Years Teaching Assistant | Coventry, CV2 | £85 - £100 per day | September 2024
Are you an experienced and dedicated Teaching Assistant with a background in SEND? Do you specialise in Early Years and seek a rewarding position helping children with SEND? Our well-respected partner Primary School in East Coventry is looking for a full-time teaching assistant to join their Early Years team from September. This position is for the full academic year, with the possibility of becoming permanent for the right candidate.
Responsibilities:
- Support students with special educational needs.
- Develop engaging learning activities and tailor them to meet pupils' needs as necessary.
- Implement interventions for groups of learners, including phonics and reading.
- Build strong relationships with staff, students, and parents.
- Support students with ASD, ADHD, or SEMH needs.
- Work with individuals or small groups of pupils in the classroom.
The ideal candidate will have:
- A relevant Teaching Assistant qualification or degree, or Early Years equivalent.
- Experience working with children in the Early Years, or nursery environment.
- Experience supporting students with special educational needs.
