Job Title: HGV Class 1 Driver (Days)
Location: Haydock
Pay Rate: £17.00 - £23.00 per hour
We are currently seeking experienced and reliable HGV Class 1 Drivers for general haulage work based in Haydock. You will be responsible for delivering various goods using Curtainsider trailers to locations across the region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operating an HGV Class 1 vehicle for general haulage.
- Loading and unloading goods using a Curtainsider trailer.
- Carrying out daily vehicle checks to ensure road worthiness.
- Ensuring deliveries are made on time and in a professional manner.
- Adhering to all road transport and traffic laws.
Requirements:
- Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence.
- Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role.
- Up-to-date CPC and Tachograph card.
- Good knowledge of UK road networks.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
