Are you passionate about creating secure and user-friendly services? Are you a pro at bridging the gap between technical development and end-users? Our client, a leading organisation in Manchester, is seeking an experienced Information & Records Officer to take on a SharePoint Migration project. This is an exciting opportunity to enhance your technical skills, particularly in Microsoft 365 and Information and Records Management best practises.

In this role, you will play a vital part in creating a seamless service for the entire organisation. You will work closely with staff to understand their information migration needs and ensure proper structuring. You will be responsible for integrating SharePoint into the Electronic Document and Records Management System (EDRMS), with a focus on usability and security. Your work will contribute to the overall vision of delivering and maintaining a sustainable EDRMS system within SharePoint.

SOME OF YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

  • Conducting data analysis and gathering feedback during SharePoint integration workshops.
  • Assisting in the design and creation of the new SharePoint EDRMS.
  • Developing effective relationships with colleagues to ensure the successful delivery of the project.
  • Analysing large amounts of migration data
  • Updating and maintaining guidance and tools to support effective records and information management.
  • Supporting records management practises in SharePoint, including retention reporting and access control management.

TO THRIVE AND SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL NEED:

  • Previous experience of a sharepoint migration project
  • Excellent communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Confidence in supporting workshops and collaborating with team members.
  • Proven experience in information and records management.
  • Technical proficiency in SharePoint and Microsoft Office 365.
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel including using it for analysis, validation and management of data
  • Good working knowledge of Data Protection/GDPR.
