  • Annual Salary: £26,000 - £29,000 per annum
  • 33 days holiday including bank holidays.

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant to join our friendly team at a well-established manufacturing company. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our day-to-day operations, ensuring the smooth running of our accounts department.

Day to Day of the role:

  • Creation of sales invoices and export into Sage.
  • Issue credit application forms to new customers and obtain proforma payments if required.
  • Process credit card payments and handle customer account queries.
  • Enter Goods Received onto the system.
  • Enter purchase invoices Sage, resolving any queries with suppliers and internal staff.
  • Collate payroll hours and update staff holidays & absence records.
  • Answer incoming calls and provide reception cover as needed.
  • Provide administrative support to management & sales team.
  • Raise Delivery Notes & Royal Mail paperwork.
  • Maintain and file job bags and delivery documentation.
  • Generate daily, weekly & monthly reports as requested for Head Office.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar Accounts role.
  • Proficiency in Sage 50 Accounts.
  • Good knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to take initiative with workload and task prioritisation.

Full training will be provided on any other used software.
