Robert Half Finance & Accounting are recruiting for an Interim Senior Assistant Management Accountant to join a rewarding organisation with a global reach based in the heart of Bath. You'll be working within a fast paced, busy environment alongside a flexible, supportive team.
This is a Fixed Term Contract for a period of circa 15 months
Start Date: June 2024
Duration: Circa 15 months
Salary range DOE: £33,000 - £42,000
Hybrid working - 1 - 2 days a week in the office
Working hours - 37.5 hours a week, with flexible start and finish times
You will use your skills to:
- Prepare and assist with management and financial accounting tasks
- Revenue recognition
- Cost recognition
- Review of nominal ledger postings for errors
- Reconciliation of balance sheet accounts
- Reconciliation of project ledger activity to nominal ledger
- Reconciliation of subsidiary inter-company accounts
- Assisting with management accounts - Accruals, prepayments, posting journals
- Resolving queries from Finance Officers and stakeholders
- Provide assistant in developing and preparing budgets - Corporate and contracts
- Variance analysis
- Assisting with reporting including commentary
Skills/Experience needed:
- Strong understanding and proven experience of the month end process
- Proficient in Excel - VLOOKUP's, pivot tables
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Experience with international accounts & multi-currencies - Desirable
- AAT qualified, QBE or studying ACCA/CIMA
- High attention to detail
- Willing to learn
- Ability to prioritise tasks well
