Salary: £28,000 - £31,000

Castlefield are currently recruiting a Procurement Officer to join a Public Sector organisation in Preston. The role is hybrid and will cover all category areas.
The Role:
- To manage the provision of effective procurement services to both internal and external stakeholders
- Support in the development and delivery of the organisation's procurement strategy
- Identify best procurement routes for specific projects
- Maintain relationships with suppliers
- Manage the contracts register
- Strive for continuous improvement across procurement and contract management
The Person:
- Experience in procurement
- Public Sector experience desirable
- Working across multiple areas
- Ability to manage busy workload
- Effective negotiator
