Our Nottingham Customer Logistics team are responsible for order taking, delivery and building strong collaborative supply chain relationships with our customers including grocery retailers, wholesalers, retails outlets and brewers in Great Britain. Every order that CCEP has is handled by the Customer Logistics team in Nottingham.

There are several pillars in Customer Logistics – Customer Service, Transport, Allocation, SKU – who all work in partnership to drive service and supply chain efficiencies for our business and our customers. Teamwork and the ability to work shoulder to shoulder with others, giving constructive and appreciative feedback is vital to satisfy customer demand.

What to expect:

Reporting to the Senior Manager for Wholesale and Convenience, Customer Logistics, you will work with a degree of autonomy and will quickly become the expert for your accounts. You will work very closely with your customers, CCEP Sales, Customer Logistics, Demand Planning, QESH and other parts of the business. You will be a go-to person for all Supply Chain matters relating to your customers.

You will be comfortable with complex systems and happy to ask questions to strengthen understanding. Having assertive conversations internally and externally will be a regular feature.

This role is customer facing and will include weekly attendance at the customer's office, working side by side with their supply chain team.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Being the voice of the customer to CCEP
  • Ensure timely and accurate operational customer communication
  • Deliver customers key metrics
  • Effective and efficient order management compliance
  • Service and cost interrogation to drive improvements and meet all associated KBIs
  • Management of Seasonal, Event and Ranging plans
  • Supply Chain and Commercial alignment
  • Extensive stakeholder management

Skills & Essentials:

  • Ability to work remotely and on solo projects
  • Able to demonstrate initiative and look always to solve problems efficiently
  • Represent CCEP to the customer at all times, recognising the potential for pressure when working in the customer's offices
  • Experience of working in a logistics environment is desirable
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Logical and with the ability to analyse data to troubleshoot
  • Excel and PowerPoint familiarity
  • Customer Relationship Management experience
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills with an ability to perform under high levels of pressure within a fast paced environment. This is a role with a high degree of data management.
  • It is important that you are able to demonstrate the ability to maintain and make sound, timely decisions, without losing sight of the bigger picture, and/or long term objectives
  • Systems knowledge – SAP preferred, but not essential
