As part of a small, but growing electrical contractors, operating in the high end of the market, this multi faceted role of Electrical Contracts Manager, will be responsible for running, growing and developing the small electrical projects and maintenance department, using your Project Management, client care and, essentially, electrical knowledge to manage projects up to £100,000.
Main Duties:
- Building relationships with new and existing clients with a view to carrying out their electrical maintenance and small works, ensuring ongoing business
- Providing all post contract services to clients
- Source suppliers and subcontractors
- Manage subcontractors, ensuring projects are delivered on time and budget
- Managing a team of electricians and small admin team
- Liaising with the Marketing department to plan and develop strategies
Skills and Qualifications:
- Technical Electrical knowledge and understanding, able to read drawings
- Project Management experience
- H&S knowledge and planning
- Capability and enthusiasm to seek out new opportunities
- Be willing to research and learn current and new regulations
- Confident with Word, Excel and Outlook
- Strong planning and organisational skills
- Excellent people management
- Self motivated, reliable, confident and conscientious
- Full current driving licence
