Are you an Manual Machinist seeking a day shift position with a reputable local company who offer guaranteed overtime at competitive rates, along with bonuses, providing an excellent opportunity to significantly increase your earnings?
This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a family run company that has been in business for over 60 years. The company excel in delivering high quality metal machining service, specialising in precision Planing, Plano-milling and CNC machining services.
In this role you will be responsible for setting up and aligning the machine, including installing and accurately positioning the workpiece and cutting tools. You will inspect workpieces for accuracy, maintain the equipment, and troubleshoot any issues that occur during operation.
This role would suit a Manual Machinist or similar looking to get into a tight knit company, who pride themselves on staff retention and providing opportunities to progress into management with overtime and bonuses.
The Person:
- Manuel Machinist or similar
- Level 3 as a machinist or similar
- Commutable to Nottingham
The Role:
- Setup: Position and align workpieces and tools.
- Adjustment: Configure cutting tools and settings.
- Machining: Shape components to exact specifications.
- Inspection: Verify quality and perform routine maintenance.
