CCP are delighted to be working with an existing client who are continuing their expansion due to exceptional business performance. This insurance business are looking to recruit an IT Manager to support their contact centre function on a full-time basis in their office in Chorley.

About The Role

Due to continued success, this business are looking to bring in a reliable IT Manager to support their fast paced contact centre operation. Currently with circa 100 FTE, the organisation is looking to increase headcount to build on their continued success. The business sits across 3 floors with some outsourced partnerships. The working hours are 8:30am to 5:30pm, Monday to Friday (with early Friday finishes). Though with the contact centre open until 6:30pm, there may be some occasional additional requirements. There is free parking on site and is accessible by public transport.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Proactively and independently oversee the IT operations, from infrastructure management and software development to cybersecurity and strategic technology planning.
  • Nurture relationships with clients, providing insights into the transformative potential of their technology services and solutions.
  • Collaborate effectively with the executive team, providing insights to enhance decision-making processes.
  • Maintain meticulous and current records of tech operations and interactions within the modern IT management system.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and competitive technology offerings, positioning our services optimally within the market.

Salary & Benefits

  • £30,000 - £35,000, depending on experience.
  • Company pension.

  • 22 days annual leave plus bank holidays.

Experience Required

  • To be considered for this brilliant opportunity, you must have the following experience: Proven track record in IT management or related roles, preferably within the technology sector.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, vital for fostering lasting client relationships and leading a proficient tech team.
  • Advanced negotiation skills and a knack for effectively addressing technological challenges.
  • Innate self-motivation and a results-driven orientation, coupled with a fervent drive to exceed tech objectives.
  • Resilient and adaptable in the dynamic tech landscape.
  • Experience with PAT testing would be advantageous.
