Senior Payroll and Banking Assistant - Temporary to start ASAP!
This is an exciting new opportunity for a Senior Payroll and Banking Assistant to join a company based in Worthing on a temporary ongoing basis, to start immediately. The hours for this position are Monday to Friday, 35 hours a week and the salary is £28,340 per annum.
Duties will include but not be limited to:
- Liaising with customers over email and phone to obtain all necessary information relating to employee hours worked and any other relevant information regarding their payments
- Producing pay slips and payroll summary information to enable customers to pay their employees
- Providing accurate information on employment related taxation matters and issues and implications for Direct Payments recipients to customers, team members and other colleagues
- Paying customer invoices; arranging payment of employee's wages on behalf of Direct Payments recipients
- Working with customers to resolve banking administration issues
- Supporting other teams with data monitoring, reporting, and other ad hoc tasks when required
To be successful for this position, you must have experience using IRIS payroll software or similar, as well as working to high quality standards. You must have at least a C grade or higher in GCSE Math's and English and be proficient using Microsoft Excel and Word.
