Accounts Payable Manager

Reed Accountancy & Finance is looking for an Accounts Payable Manager for a temporary role with our client in Ashford. The chosen candidate will manage the accounts payable and receivable ledgers, ensuring all financial transactions are recorded and processed accurately and promptly. This contract will run until the end of the year.

**Accounts Payable Manager

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations of accounts payable.
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments, maintaining current ledger entries.
  • Reconcile ledger accounts and resolve discrepancies.
  • Prepare financial statements for accounts receivable and payable.
  • Implement and maintain internal control procedures and policies.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure financial data accuracy and process efficiency.
  • Lead and direct the ledger team, setting objectives and monitoring performance.
  • Assist in preparing budgets, forecasts, and financial reports as needed.

**Accounts Payable Manager

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Ledger Manager or in a similar supervisory finance role.
  • Strong understanding of ledger management, accounts payable, and receivable functions.
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
  • High accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in accounting software and MS Office, especially Excel.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Relevant finance qualification or equivalent experience.
