Our client, a leader in their market, is looking for a Management Accountant to provide financial insights, support strategic decision-making, and drive business performance. Key responsibilities of the Management Accountant:
- Prepare and analyse monthly management accounts to ensure accurate financial reporting
- Monitor financial performance, identifying variances and providing actionable insights to management
- Assist in the budgeting and forecasting processes to support strategic planning
- Support operational decision-making through financial modeling and analysis
- Develop and maintain robust financial models to forecast future performance
- Liaise with department heads to manage their budgets effectively and provide financial advice
- Contribute to the preparation of board reports and financial presentations
- Maintain and improve financial controls and processes to ensure compliance and accuracy
- Lead a small team of junior accountants, providing guidance and development opportunities
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the finance function to enhance efficiency
Key essentials of the Management Accountant:
- ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Advanced Excel skills, including financial modeling
