Our client, an SME in the PR/tech sector is looking to recruit an experienced Head of HR/Senior HR Manager for a newly created role based in London (SW18). As the company is expanding and undergoing a period of transition, the HR professional will play a crucial role in collaborating closely with the CEO to support the organisation through this growth phase. You will need to be a self starter with the ability to inspire and lead. The company has a diverse workforce and international offices and so offers a dynamic and multicultural work environment. The role is 4 days in the office and 1 day WFH.
Role Responsibilities
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
- Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, or other issues.
- Manage the recruitment and selection process.
- Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation, and preservation of human capital.
- Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance.
- Maintain pay plan and benefits program.
- Assess training needs to apply and monitor training programs.
- Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management.
Person Specification
- 10 years HR experience within a generalist role
- Ideally stand alone and SME experience is a distinct advantage
- Ability to influence and work closely with the CEO to make a difference
- Experience in facilitating culture change and restructuring
- In-depth knowledge and experience of UK employment laws and regulations.
- Experience of working within a diverse/multicultural environment
In return you will receive a salary of between £75,000-£80,000
